Our project manager Robert did a thorough job estimating the costs, dealing with the adjustor and coordinating all the work. Chris led the hard working crew and paid attention to all the details. Mike (project manager) kept me updated and informed through the entire process. He deals with emergencies regularly. I had the misfortune of having my basement flood in a matter of minutes. 7 inches of sewer water later with a broken sump pump, I called my insurance agent for some guidance and recommendations as to what to do to remediate the problem. After being told my policy did not cover the damage and without receiving any valid emergency contractor references, I turned to a friend who strongly suggested that I contact the owner of EJH Construction; John Hale Jr. This turned out to be the best advice. Within the hour, John was at my residence with a crew assessing the damage and guiding me on how to best address the problem. Mr. Hale was extremely professional, always kept me informed on next steps, and what to expect in terms of costs and timing for each steps of the project. He offered me several options when the time came to finally remodel the space once the damage was mitigated. His patience and calmness, especially his skills sets and his knowledge of what had to be done made this unpleasant experience much easier to go through. Felt like I was dealing with Mike Holmes!!! The crew that was assigned to do the work was incredible. Not only were they buttoned up, clean, knowledgeable and trust-worthy but the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
